TPAM Tokyo March 2008
Date: 16th April 2008

The Tokyo Performing Arts Market took place over four days at the beginning of March. Getting On the Map took a stall in the exhibition area which was manned by Frank Wilson, Ian Bone and Yukiko Hakita our Japanese translator.
The event was very well attended with a diverse range of people andorganisations showing a great deal of interest in the initiative. In addition to promoters and agents there were also a number of representatives of television companies and advertising agencies who were looking for new or unusual work they may be able to adapt for Japanese television programmes.
The reaction from all of those who visited the stand was very positive and there was genuine interest in the diversity of work available. The publicity material was very well received with virtually nothing being left at the end of the exhibition.
It is noteworthy that the perception of British work in Japan is very positive. Listed below are the contact details of the individuals we felt showed the most serious interest in the work and importantly had the resources to programme.
