Since its international launch at FIRA TARREGA 2007 Getting on the Map has supported the participation of British Street Arts companies in festivals in China, Germany and Holland as well as promoting the work of British companies at arts markets in Japan and Australia.
In 2008 Getting on the Map returns to FIRATARREGA to support a programme of British companies selected by the artistic direction of the FIRA
These are:
Bash Street Theatre with their new production The Station
Dot Comedy with their acclaimed Dot Maze
Orkestra del Sol with a commission developed for the Fira, The Moveable Feast.
GETTING ON THE MAP is proud to invite you to a
celebratory lunch on Thursday 11th September at 2pm, at Museu Comarcal de l’Urgell in Tārrega, where we will be joined by representatives of the
companies as well as Arts Council England www.artscouncil.org.uk, the UK Independent Street Arts Network www.streetartsnetwork.org.uk and National Association of Street Artists www.nasauk.org
