Orkestra del Sol at Chaoyang Spring Carnival, Beijing.

As a result of the work done by Getting on the Map, Orkestra Del Sol where invited to appear at this years Chaoyang Spring Carnival in Beijing. The spring carnival takes place in a large park and is one of the main events celebrating Chinese New Year in the city, the event is attended by 40,000 to 60,000 paying visitors per day.
Commenting on the trip Marcus said, "Orkestra del Sol’s shows in Chaoyang Park were a memorable experience. We learnt a great deal about performing to non-English speaking crowds and the Chinese audience responded well to the music and on-stage antics."
