Adelaide Festival Fringe February 2008
Date: 15th April 2008

As part of the initiative to showcase English Street Art, Frank Wilson attended the Adelaide Festival. While in Adelaide he had meetings with a number of key promoters and organisers of festivals throughout Australia. As the result of his meeting with the Director of the Adelaide Fringe, work is now underway to explore opportunities for English companies to participate in the Fringe 2009.
In addition to discussions with the festival fringe office, a commercial promoter, Strut n Fret have indicated their willingness to explore the concept of a showcase venue for English performers. This organisation has successfully run, for a number of years, the ‘Garden of Unearthly Delights’ which is the main focus of festival fringe activity.
Over the coming month’s further details of the opportunities available in relation to work in Australia will appear on this website.
